Husmanns Vinstue is a cosy basement restaurant which really became famous when the Danish travel company magnate Simon Spies was photographed while having fun naked with a couple of girls on the floor of the restaurant.

Even though the name claims something else, not much wine is served here, as the food is classical Danish open face sandwiches and matching warm dishes, with which beer and schnapps go much better.

The food is well-prepared and the service is efficient, and as for Danish lunch restaurants, Husmanns is in the better end.

The atmosphere is informal and cosy, and I come here often to eat our lovely Danish open face sandwiches.
