Hotel Gritti Palace is a unique building that provides traditional Venetian style and elegance, located right next to the enchanting Grand Canal.

It was built in 1525, and became the private residence of Andrea Gritti. The hotel has been modernised and offers all the facilities and services that should ensure a pleasant stay.

The hotel is a 5-star hotel, but should actually only have 3 stars, as the atmosphere and service lag significantly behind here. Inside, the hotel seems a bit worn out, and sometimes the service is non-existing.

However, the hotel restaurant deserves 4 stars, and sitting outside in the evening eating your dinner right at the Grand Canal is about as romantic as it gets.

If you are going to Venice, Hotel Danielli is the place to stay and always will be.
