My last Must-Have for men was a piece of Danish design of top quality in all areas, and therefore, it may seem strange that I have once again stumbled upon a Danish design wonder, but considering that it is so (well, let’s just tell it like it is) COOL that I have once again found a piece of furniture that my sometimes difficult girlfriend approves of in our home, it should get the full 5 stars and a nice review to go along with it.

Peter Petersen (right, his parents weren’t particularly inventive, but he has turned out to be) is the name of the designer who has developed and designed this desk, which is part of his design series called The Tank Collection. This desk is so cool that if you put an iPhone on the desk, the iPhone pales in comparison, and I think we can all agree that iPhone is a piece of design history. Actually, the desk would really come into its own if it came with an iMac, because those two things fit together like a wheel and a car.

I have been informed by a reliable source that Peter Petersen has achieved a great response in for example the US, France, Italy, Benelux and Great Britain and is expected to become one of Denmark’s up-and-coming and strong profiles, as he is rather new in the design arena.

A small drawback is the price, but only a small drawback, in my opinion, because several factors affect the rather high price: Quality, innovative design, functionality and particularly the fact that you do not see this desk in all IKEA homes.

During the autumn, a slightly less expensive version is to be launched, but if you cannot afford the top model, then save! Otherwise, it would be like buying a Mercedes SL 350, instead of a SL 500, which is the only proper SL.

The elevation desk from The Tank Collection radiates lightness and elegance just like a ballerina who barely touches the floor. This is Peter Petersen’s own description, and I agree.
